Maintaining the health of a Harlequin flock during peak summer months requires a proactive management strategy. High temperatures and humidity levels pose a direct threat to the metabolic stability of miniature sheep. As a breed characterized by a dense, medium-character fleece, the Harlequin’s ability to dissipate heat is naturally limited. 1. Shearing and Fleece Management
